Episode #3 Habitat for Humanity | Leanne Fogg
Leanne Fogg has always followed the call God put on her life! Her role as the Executive Director at the Kokomo Habitat for Humanity is a great example of that obedience. Crystal and Jennifer had a great conversation with Leanne. She stressed that they build ‘affordable’ housing, and there is a long and detailed process for partner families to qualify and start the year-long process. Getting a home in this program creates a generational change for the family that they walk alongside. It’s about more than just four walls. Until recently, the entire organization in Kokomo has been run and managed by Volunteers. It takes the generosity of time and resources to make this non-profit operate. There is a lot to this program, be sure to listen to learn about how these affordable mortgages work.
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. We believe affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities. They have been operating in Kokomo Indiana since 1988 and they are completing their 67th house here.
